Woman killed by pet wolves

Sandra L. Piovesan, 50, died this earlier this week. Her body was found mauled inside the fenced pen where she kept her pets - hybrid wolves. An autopsy has yet to determine the offical cause of death but I'm putting my money on being eaten by wolves.

Experts say that wolf hybrids do not make good pets. For the record, other animals to avoid as pets are grizzly bears, tigers, aligators, deadly snakes, and sharks riding on the backs of elephants.

"She loved those wolves just like pets," Lee Neslar, executive director of the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society said. Now those wolves loved her- just like a slow roasted rack of lamb.

i think you are being rather biased, loads of people have hybrids and they dont get eaten, with the right trainning and attention they can be the best breed. sure this lady may not have trainned hers' right, but that dosent mean that all wolf hybrids are bad pets.

Wolves and Wolf Hybrids are two completely different breeds of animals. Hybrids dont carry the same basic instincts that pure bred wild Wolves do. To contain wild Wolves is asking for something of that nature to happen but i myself have a Wolf Hybrid mixed with another breed of dog that is commonaly referred to as a ' killer'. My Amercian Pit Bull Terrier mated with a male wild wolf and because of the differences in breeds 8 out of 9 puppies died. The remaining puppy shows no sign of over-aggressivness and is being properly trained. Think before you attack specific breeds of dogs and animals because your not going to be right without the proper background knowledge. Speculation doesnt count as knowledge. ~ Someone who knows better~

It was her fault that it happened. In the first place she needed to understand that wolf hybrids are still somewhat wild. Second of all if she was playing rough with the hybrid she could have taken it to far with it. The hybrids have limits also. In the end they are not pets that you can play like if it was an actual dog. They will never be bad pets because it depends who was the alfa or the leader. If she let the dog be the leader then your problem has been solved why she was killed.....

i think people give all big dogs bad raps aspcilly pit bulls and wolfs,or wolf hybrids.....but with the right care and training any dog can be good that lady problly didnt train them good or got to rought cause i have a little maltesse mix and if we play to rough he snaps so not all dogs are bad just the owners
