Today is day 2 of me not having any coffee filters. I meant to pick some up at the store yesterday but completely forgot. Desperate to get that bold velvety smooth brew into my face, I decided to use science to get my coffee made instead. By "science," I mean replacing the filter with a clean sock.
What!? How is this possible?
For starters, you are going to need to boil the appropriate amount of water.

Next, you'll need a clean sock filled with coffee grounds and tied off at the top to prevent any spillage.
Let the sock-coffee-tea bag steep for about 5 minutes until your pot of water looks like coffee.
Remove the sock, pour yourself a cup and enjoy! Who says there's a downside to be woken up at 2:30am? I mean besides being so desperate for coffee that you'd be willing to boil a coffee sock.

Haha. This is the funniest yet most innovative way I've ever heard of making coffee.
