Child pornography, molesting - the missing link

85% of men surveyed admitted that they viewed and or owned child pornography, which eventually led to them to act out those desires by molesting or raping children. That sounds like an alarming statistic that directly indicates the connection between child pornography and sex acts committed against children. Or at least that is what I thought until I found out that 100% of the men surveyed were currently in prison serving out sentences from Child Molestation or Child Rape Charges.

What we really need is an anonymous survey of men who can freely answer  whether or not they viewed or owned child pornography and if they had ever committed sexual acts of any kind against a minor - convicted or not. Regardless, I think the laws put in place against possession of child pornography need to be much much steeper.
