Snakes on a Plane

I know I'm late to be jumping on the bandwagon here, but I can't help but write about this genious movie concept. I too have dreams of filmmaking and scriptwriting. Heck, I'm even working a script right now. Out of all the notions I've had as to what would be a great idea for thrill ride of a movie, I would have NEVER thought of this.

Ophidiophobia, the fear of snakes, is one of the most common suffered phobias worldwide. And after 9/11, who isn't terrified to get on a plane anymore? The plot is just absolute genious!

After contemplating this movie plot formula magic, I decided to try my hand at it. Here goes:

Nick is a convict on his way up the 4th floor in the district courthouse for sentancing. He faces life in prison for the murder of his wife. Sandra is the rookie police officer asigned to escort Nick to court. Their elevator stops in between floors and the two hear a hissing noice growing in volume. Prying the doors open, Sandra and Nick become overwhelmed by a swarm of hissing beetles. Armed only with a tazor and shackles, Sandra and Nick are forced to overcome differences, and defend their lives against. . . .Cicadas in an Elevator!
