Local Comic teams up with home club, Pepperbelly's to throw benefit comedy event
David Lew is selling belongings, chasing dreams with move to LA.
July 1, 2009, Fairfield, CA – San Francisco based comic, David Lew, is selling his 60 inch plasma TV and throwing a benefit comedy show to help chase his dream to become a headlining stand-up comic in Los Angeles. On July 29 at 8pm some of the best comics that the LA and Bay areas have to offer will come together at Pepperbelly's Comedy and Variety Theater to roast David Lew.
Well on his way to becoming a headliner, David Lew has worked with several veteran comics, including Comedy Central's 2009 Stand-up Showdown winner, Kyle Cease. He has featured at the new Jon Lovitz Comedy Club in Universal City, the Pittsburgh and Irvine Improv clubs, and many local hot spots.
“David Lew is amazing and very funny,” says stand-up comedian and actor, Kyle Cease. “He will make this dream a reality.”
