A nod to another blog: KillerStartups.com

This blog is awesome and is one of the first five web sites I check everyday. It's called KillerStartups.com and on it you will not find stories, gossip, confessions, or contests. It's a collection of the newest start up web sites hitting the Internet that allows users to vote for the ones they think will be Killer.

As soon as the page loads, an easy flowing list of sites appears. You can read the name of the new web site, a tag-line, a brief description of what the site is, and a link. I have to say that there has not been a day since I started checking this blog that I have not found something interesting or useful listed. Here's a quick list of some of my new discoveries thanks to KillerStartups.

  • 99moments.com - Mark important events on a massive public timeline. You get upload images, videos, Google Map locations and personal info for every event you add!
  • Naymz.com - Lets you register your name and monitor what is being said about you across the world wide web.
  • Genoom.com - You can create an interactive and comprehensive family tree and invite members of your family to expand them as far as your memory will allow. Also includes a world view of your heritage courtesy of Google Maps.

So there you have it. A fun site that is great for killing time and keeping your finger on the pulse of beta web sites. Go have a look!
